The Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1-4P is a Network Video Recorder (NVR) offering 4 Channels of high quality, Real Time recording.
With 4 ports of power over ethernet built in, there is no requirement for powering the cameras. Simply connect the cameras to the NVR via a Patch Lead. The maximum distance for transmission of the cameras over the built in POE is 100 meters. If you require longer distance a separate POE switch is required.
The NVR will support Cameras up to 5MP but as this system comes with 40Mbps incoming bandwidth it is most suitable for 1.3MP, 2MP and 3MP Network IP cameras.
