The Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2-8P is a Network Video Recorder (NVR) offering 8 Channels of high quality, Real Time recording.
With 8 ports of POE (power over ethernet) built in, there is no requirement for powering the cameras. Simply connect the cameras to the NVR via a Patch Lead. The maximum distance for transmission of the cameras over the built in POE is 100 meters. If you require longer distance a separate POE switch is required.
