Dome - PTZ

All PTZ (Pan, Tilt & Zoom) Cameras have an internal lens that can be remotely adjusted to zoom in, pan and tilt to view an object or persons. All the HIKVISION cameras we supply can pan a full 360 degrees, be tilted to obtain best view and can be zoomed up to approximately 120 meters depending on the camera selected.

We supply a vast selection of PTZs from 2 megapixel to 10 megapixel and they range in price from circa €300.00 to €5,000.00. 

Unlike in the past the majority of PTZ cameras now come with infra red led's on board the camera. The led's will normally illuminate further than the camera can zoom, e.g. if a PTZ camera is zoomed to a 70 meter distance at night time, the LEDs will illuminate up to 100 meters.

In our IP range most of the cameras have POE on board so when paired with a HIKVISION POE NVR or a POE network switch there is no need to run separate power to the camera, one cable will transmit power, video & data. Most IP PTZ cameras will be compatible with other NVR brands.

We also supply a range of HD PTZ cameras, so if upgrading from a traditional analogue CCTV system they will transmit video and data over your existing traditional coaxial cable, the camera can then powered separately as before.

One must bear in mind the location of the camera and what your PTZ bracket requirement is. There are corner mount, standard wall mount, pendant mount and swan neck brackets.

PTZ cameras can now also be controlled remotely by your phone, tablet etc. They are particularly beneficial for CCTV monitoring centres and for security men in shops.
